Walking Street Pattaya

Pattaya Walking Street is probably the most famous street (or Soi) in Thailand. It is at the very centre of the night life scene in Pattaya, and is home to some of the best bars, gogo bars and restaurants the city has to offer.

In reality it is probably one of the most exciting streets in the world if you are looking for fun. 1000 metres of bars, gogo bars, restaurants, nightclubs and of course the hostesses!

Walking Street truly offers something for everyone, crazy bars, live music bars, restaurants to suit every taste, even bars full of lady boys for those that way inclined. Add to the mix the street stalls, souvenir shops, street entertainers and you can understand why it is Pattaya's number one tourist attraction. As with the whole of Pattaya open air beer bars and complexes abound but as of January 2012 there were over fifty enclosed air conditioned bars to allow you to cool down even if they do mean you cannot sit and watch the circus come to town.

The street is opened to traffic most of the day but is closed to traffic from 6.00 p.m to 02.00 a.m. The main car parking area is at the Bali Hai pier end.
